The sky is a limited container-handle with care!

In science, the convention of working with pollution at its source to stop it presently is not working. How do we know this? Because emissions went up 1.7% in 2018.

So, as an engineer, I’m telling you you have to really cut your personal emissions and the best way to do that is to stop vehicle emissions immediately. And please if you have to use your car, share it with as many people as possible. Make the extra effort to ride share.

In order to successfully target the high emitters of society, you may have to all sign on to a carbon rationing system that won’t hurt you very much, but will target the rich. This sounds political, but it is grounded in fact. Heavy emitters are stealing your climate safety away from you, the average citizen. I apologize for being blunt.

Dr. Kevin Anderson of the Tyndall Center for Climate Change teaches about this very clearly and truthfully, which in these times you deserve to hear. I suggest like he does that the only way to target the rich is through a whole society policy of tradable emissions permits, where all can be held accountable fairly.

We all must bear in mind that Climate Change Canada just issued a comprehensive report in which it states that Canada has officially warmed 1.7’C, which makes the 2’C target the only option instead of 1.5’C for Canada.
