Employers need to help people start living out net zero carbon periods of time if we are going to succeed at handling this emergency. Sheltering in place, staying at home, working from home, banning single occupant driving need to be sanctioned by our societies.

The honor system has failed us at every level. The only alternative is to proscribe carbon use with permits. It’s the only way we are  going to succeed, and I want you all to succeed.
